The Magnificat sportive is making a triumphant return on 1st July, showcasing its prestigious reputation as one of the most formidable cycling events. Nestled within the rolling landscapes of Hampshire and featuring the iconic climbs of the North Wessex Downs, this event is a must-do for cyclists seeking an extraordinary challenge.

Prepare for an epic adventure as the longest route of the Magnificat, spanning 204km (127 miles), takes you on a thrilling journey with over 7,874ft of exhilarating hill climbing action. Starting in Newbury, this classic anti-clockwise loop, following the UCI European Golden Bike Events model, will push your limits and ignite your passion for cycling.

Choose your distance from the various route options available: The 200 (201km), Long (159km), Middle (111km), or Short (48km). The gates open at 06:15, with registration starting at 06:30. Be ready to kick off your ride at the designated start times, and aim to finish this exhilarating adventure by 18:00.

The Mendips Classic - 15 July

Experience the exhilaration of the Mendips Classic sportive on 15th July at Strode College Sport Centre.

With routes for all riders, including the stunning Long and Middle options through Cheddar Gorge, this event showcases the beauty of the Mendip Hills area of outstanding natural beauty.

The inclusive Classic Series by UK Cycling Events ensures a memorable ride with well-planned routes and ample fueling stops provided by OTE Sports Nutrition.

Like The Magnificat Tour, this event has been given a difficulty rating of 4/5 as it involves some big hills. Amongst the climbs and long descents, there are some fast flat sections to keep your legs moving.
